Description

Tom Sawyer Software is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Administration Director. The Administration Director will be responsible for the recruitment, on-boarding, training, and retention of a global team. The Administration Director will play a key role in implementing the company’s strategic growth plans. The position will report to the Chief Executive.

Primary Responsibilities Qualifications
  • Manage local and global recruiting programs, including selection, on-boarding, and new hire training processes
  • Ensure company’s compliance with applicable labor laws, and help minimize the company’s exposure to risk
  • Develop professional growth opportunities and career tracks for all positions
  • Work with Operations and departmental managers on long-term organizational planning
  • Understand the resource needs of each department
  • Evaluate and manage the company’s employee compensation and benefit plans
  • Maintain an employee handbook, including the creation, improvement, and implementation of company policies
  • Manage the employee performance review process
  • Provide coaching and counseling to employees
  • Work with managers to develop performance improvement plans when needed
  • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and recommend appropriate actions or improvements
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment at all facilities
  • Oversee facilities management and travel coordination
  • Ensure that personnel records are accurate and complete
  • Manage Administration staff
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master’s in Business Administration, preferred
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources or Senior Professional in Human Resources
  • Minimum 7 years of Human Resources management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and California labor law
  • Experience working for a global company and knowledge of international labor law
  • Experience working for a technology company, preferred
  • Initiative, good judgment, and ability to work under pressure in a changing environment
  • Creative problem solver
  • Hands-on leader
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
  • Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the job
