Announcing Tom Sawyer Graph Database Browser on Microsoft Azure Marketplace

Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB Users Can Now Interactively Explore Their Data

Berkeley, Calif., April 8, 2021—Tom Sawyer Software, the global leader in graph and data visualization and analysis technology, announces the availability of Tom Sawyer Graph Database Browser on Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

Graph Database Browser is a web-based application that enables data scientists, analysts, architects, and developers to instantly see connections in their Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB. Users can interactively explore the structure of their data without extensive knowledge of the query language or schema, or apply more advanced Gremlin, Cypher, and SPARQL queries to gain additional insights.

Previously, Graph Database Browser was only available on AWS Marketplace with support for Amazon Neptune, Neo4j, Apache TinkerPop, and JanusGraph graph databases. This release now provides Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB users the same flexibility and power to visually interact with their data in ways not previously available.

"This release is an important step as it enables the Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB community to discover new insights through visualization and analysis," said Product Manager Janet Six, Ph.D. "We’re pleased to join the Microsoft Azure community with this new offering."

Graph Database Browser brings Tom Sawyer Software’s powerful graph layout and analytic capabilities to users of all skill levels, with no programming necessary. Users can choose from five graph layout styles to clearly and cleanly visualize their data. And they can apply built-in centrality, clustering, and pathfinding analyses to quickly identify critical patterns in areas like fraud detection, customer intelligence, and cybersecurity. Pattern recognition is also important to network analysts in areas such as general IT and network management, logistics, legacy system migration, and business transformation.
