Berkeley, CA, October 28, 2014—Tom Sawyer Software, the premier provider of software for building high-performance graph visualization and analysis applications, announces the release of Tom Sawyer Perspectives, Version 6.3, .NET Edition.
Tom Sawyer Perspectives now supports Apple Retina display devices, and adds basic authentication support to the REST integrator. This new release also includes many improvements in web applications in the areas of project session information management, client-side memory management, and application management. Furthermore, there have been many updates to improve overview rendering, and to improve drawing canvas rendering speed and animation in desktop applications. There have also been improvements in editing and rendering to trees, tables, and inspectors, and saving as PDF and SVG in desktop applications.
In addition, orthogonal layout quality has been refined with improvements to bend elimination and with continued work on reducing crossings and edge length. There is also a new option to improve documentation search speed by excluding the API documentation.
This new release also includes many new example applications and a tutorial to help you understand the capabilities of Tom Sawyer Perspectives. These include examples demonstrating graph analysis algorithms such as k-core and m-slice, and a new tutorial demonstrating the REST integrator.
