This release introduces new data and rule-driven charting in web applications that allows users to gain more insight into their data through charts. Users can now create area, bar, column, line, and pie charts for even more ways to provide insights into large quantities of data.

Data integration has been greatly improved by adding a new JSON data integrator, adding support for the latest Neo4j 2.2 releases, and improving XML data integration performance by as much as thirty-five percent.
This release also provides a variety of new and updated tools for drawing viewing and editing. The new modeless Select and Pan tool unites functions of the Select, Pan, and Zooming tools. Users can now carry out a combination of these operations without switching between tools, where the cursor updates automatically depending on its context and location. Additionally, the Move tool now has a new capability in web applications to transfer drawing objects from one nested drawing level to another, and the Change End Node tool has been implemented in web applications.
Tom Sawyer Perspectives now includes a sophisticated new scene graph-based Composite UI Editor that allows you to create and design your own complex UIs visually. Create UIs for drawings, nodes, edges, labels, and connectors without writing code, saving development time and resources.
This release introduces crossing jump overs in response to requests from customers in schematics-intensive fields such as electrical system design, oil and gas field applications, and advanced manufacturing applications. Users can specify the visual appearance of a crossing between two or more edges from the Designer. This reduces the potential that a crossing could be confused with an actual connection in a drawing.
Tom Sawyer Software continues its ongoing efforts to performance-tune Tom Sawyer Perspectives. Memory use, memory allocation, and code have been optimized for performance. In addition, many fine details of the layout system have also been improved. Connector support and component packing in nested drawings have been rewritten, and the new tree reduction system project continues to be developed.
