Inside Sales Lead

Seeking highly motivated, results-driven inside sales leader with software sales experience and a technical background. Position is remote in Germany, Latvia or Greece.

Position Description

Tom Sawyer Software is seeking an enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated Inside Sales Lead who is adept working in a highly technical sales environment. As an integral part of our Sales team, you will manage the sales pipeline, monitor sales metrics, manage the sales administration process, and be an essential bridge between Sales and Marketing.

Working alongside our Solutions Engineering team, you will be responsible for effectively communicating the value proposition of Tom Sawyer Software products to target accounts. Additional responsibilities include fostering prospects, qualifying leads, forecasting opportunities, and assisting Outside Sales to close business. Most importantly, as Inside Sales Lead, you will use your experience and knowledge to further develop and refine the company’s inside sales administration processes and procedures, and manage the inside sales team.

This is a remote position located in either Germany, Latvia or Greece. Some travel may be required to visit prospects and attend trade shows.

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and mentor the inside sales team, set targets and motivate the team to achieve goals.

  • Identify and regularly report sales metrics and status to management.

  • Contact prospects who have registered through our website or contacted us directly.

  • Qualify leads through research and actively engage them to understand their use case, budget, and timeline.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with our Solutions Engineering team for qualified and other interested leads. 

  • Approve and manage all software evaluations.

  • Maintain accurate and complete data in the Sales CRM, including account status and forecasts.

  • Help prepare for and participate at industry conferences and trade shows.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to ensure brand consistency and give product feedback.

  • Develop and refine inside sales processes and procedures.

  • Understand Tom Sawyer Software product strengths, functionality, positioning, and competition.

  • Help the sales team in every effort to exceed overall quota, billing, and revenue objectives.

  • Above all, be able to sense a good customer opportunity and further develop the opportunity.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical or engineering field.

  • Minimum 5 years of software sales experience leading a team with a successful track record of opening and qualifying sales leads for software products.

  • Experience selling SDK products highly preferred.

  • In-depth understanding of the sales administration process.

  • Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Motivation to establish strong relationships that turn leads into true opportunities.

  • Proven track record of achieving aggressive targets.

  • Passionate about technology, preferably the Big Data visualization and analytics space or aptitude to learn quickly.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Ability to speak several languages is an advantage.

  • Strong, confident presence and the ability to influence all levels of the client or prospect organization.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
