Blue Martini Software to Use Tom Sawyer Software's Graph Layout Technology

Java-Based Graph Editor and Graph Layout Toolkits to Be Embedded into Native Data Visualization Capabilities of Blue Martini Applications

Oakland, CA, April 24, 2001—Tom Sawyer Software today announced the embedding of its data visualization Java products, the Graph Editor Toolkit for Java (GET/J) and the Graph Layout Toolkit for Java (GLT/J), into existing Blue Martini Software applications. Blue Martini Software provides e-CRM applications that help companies to understand, target, and interact with their customers and business partners. GET/J and GLT/J provide these applications with a high-performance and scalable solution for automatic graphical layout of relational information such as correlation between customer income and purchase history.

Tom Sawyer Software's technology enables web developers to visually explain the up-selling and cross-selling relationships among a company's products. The integration of the GET/J and GLT/J enhances the existing data mining and visualization capabilities of Blue Martini Software applications.
