Description

Tom Sawyer Software is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Marketing Intern, with an opportunity of becoming a Marketing Assistant after a 3 to 6 months internship period. The Marketing department at Tom Sawyer Software helps build brand awareness of the company and its products by maintaining the website, updating materials for product releases, creating collateral, and hosting events, among other projects. The Marketing department works closely with the Sales department to help generate leads, obtain new customers, and keep existing customers. Marketing also works closely with the Products department to understand updates to craft the market message and coordinate product releases. Additionally, Marketing works closely with the Information Systems department to make sure the website is enhanced on a regular basis.

Primary Responsibilities: Qualifications: Create web pages and update web content. Maintain keywords and Google ads to obtain leads via the website. Prepare event budgets and manage and track all expenses. Coordinate event logistics for tradeshows and user conferences. Develop collateral, press releases, newsletters, and other materials. Enhance product marketing and marketing communications processes. Perform general clerical duties. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, English, or a related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Experience with Adobe products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver Knowledge of basic HTML Ability to multitask and operate in an intense and fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills Strong authoring and editorial skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Creative, motivated, and enthusiastic team member Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the job
