Role at Tom Sawyer Software
As Vice President and current Board Member, Marilyn Drobenaire, Certified Public Accountant, is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s financial functions. She works with all areas of the company to ensure smooth financial health and budgetary organization. Her career spans more than 30 years of varied experience in financial management, auditing, banking, forensic accounting, wealth management, tax preparation, and human resources.
Working Background
Prior to joining Tom Sawyer Software, Marilyn worked for Aspiriant Wealth Management, Deloitte & Touche, and Comyns Smith McCleary & Deaver LLP. She also operated her own business for over 25 years helping startup businesses, large corporations, and non-profit organizations attract investors, develop financial systems, and make budgetary decisions.
Marilyn is passionate about giving back to the community and has spoken at several San Francisco Bay Area events focused on empowering small, women-owned businesses. She feels strongly about providing all entrepreneurs with the opportunity to learn about the financial needs of running a business and has helped many small business owners push their ideas to the next level.
Education
Marilyn is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from Saint Mary's College in Moraga, California.
