Pavel re-joined Tom Sawyer Software as a board member in 2026, returning to the company where he previously served in several roles from 2009 to 2013, most recently as VP of Solution Engineering. In the years before his first tenure, he was a customer of Tom Sawyer Software at three different companies, leveraging the company's visualization and graph layout technologies to create highly successful products. That firsthand experience with the technology's impact uniquely positioned him to lead its go-to-market efforts. During his tenure, Pavel led a geographically distributed sales engineering team and spearheaded global company activities across finance, networking, and intelligence domains. He partnered closely with R&D on products, demonstrations, and tutorials, and collaborated with marketing on strategy and collateral. He represented Tom Sawyer Software at industry conferences, which helped grow brand recognition and revenue.
Working Background
With more than 25 years of experience across product management, engineering leadership, and enterprise software, Pavel Hardak brings deep technical fluency and strategic vision to Tom Sawyer Software’s board. Currently serving as Principal Product Lead at Intuit, he oversees AI and platform initiatives spanning enterprise workflows, SaaS ecosystems, and internally developed applications. Earlier, Pavel was Senior Director of Product Management at SolarWinds, leading SolarWinds Observability, an AI and Open Telemetry-powered SaaS platform. Prior to that, he was a Director of Product Management at Workday, leading analytics products and strategic infrastructure initiatives, and at Basho Technologies, where he developed innovative, highly scalable database solutions.
Education
Pavel holds an Executive MBA from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
