Her contributions span modern web technologies, core product functionality, and continuous improvements in performance, usability, and software quality.
Before joining Tom Sawyer Software, Sofia worked as a Research Assistant at the Signal Processing Laboratory of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH). Her work explored how machine learning and statistical signal processing techniques can recover missing information from sensor data, with applications in human activity recognition, environmental sensing, and wireless sensor networks. Her research resulted in publications in international journals and conference proceedings.
Sofia holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Crete. Her master's research focused on developing novel techniques for estimating missing multimodal data in wireless sensor networks, building on her background in signal processing and data analysis.
